Biography
Dr. Lahijani is a Southern California plastic and reconstructive surgeon with advanced training in burn surgery, reconstructive surgery, and cosmetic plastic surgery. Raised in Southern California, he began his medical education at the University of Southern California in 1996 and graduated from medical school in 2002.
Following medical school, he completed a surgical internship at St. John’s Hospital and continued his surgical training at Yale University, where he served as Chief Resident from 2003 to 2004.
Dr. Lahijani then completed a dedicated fellowship in Burn and Reconstructive Surgery at Vanderbilt University. Separate from that fellowship, he completed a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at Vanderbilt University.
His education also extended internationally through additional cosmetic plastic surgery training in Barcelona, Spain, under Dr. Javier De Benito. Across his training, Dr. Lahijani worked with faculty and surgeons including Dr. Bruce Shack, Dr. Kevin Kelly, Dr. Jack Fisher, and Dr. Patrick Maxwell.
His clinical background brings together plastic surgery, reconstructive surgery, burn care, and cosmetic surgery. Within Westbridge Medical Group, his proposed leadership role is intended to support coordinated care for patients with complex reconstructive needs, burn-related injuries, wound concerns, and cases that may involve multiple specialties.

Sam Harouni, DDS, MD
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Biography
Dr. Sam Harouni is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon whose training encompasses complex conditions of the face, jaw, mouth, and related structures. His clinical work includes facial fractures, jaw injuries, dentoalveolar trauma, traumatic facial injuries, dental implants, bone grafting, extractions, TMJ-related conditions, and reconstructive oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Harouni earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology from UCLA in 2009 and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California in 2013. Following dental school, he completed a year-long internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Head & Neck Cancer at the University of Florida in Jacksonville.
He subsequently completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Emory University School of Medicine. His surgical background supports the evaluation and treatment of patients with facial fractures and other trauma-related injuries involving the jaw, facial skeleton, soft tissues, or dentition.
Within Westbridge Medical Group, Dr. Harouni can coordinate with other specialties when facial trauma or complex maxillofacial conditions overlap with reconstructive surgery, neurology, pain management, rehabilitation, or other aspects of multidisciplinary care.
